How it works
The mechanics, plainly.

Set up the document
Upload the agreement, place the signature, date, and initial fields where they belong, and set who signs in what order. Each signer gets their turn when the person before them finishes, so a three-signer agreement runs itself instead of being shepherded.

Consent before any signature
Before anyone signs, they see the disclosure and give their consent to sign electronically. That step is captured and timestamped like everything else. The flow is built on the ESIGN and UETA model, which is what makes the consent step non-negotiable.

Every step hits the audit trail
Views, consents, and signatures each land in a tamper-evident audit trail with a timestamp. When anyone later asks what happened and when, the trail answers page by page: who viewed what, who consented, who signed, at what moment.

The certificate stands on its own
The signing certificate carries the document's cryptographic fingerprint, so a signed contract can be verified on its own, without asking us. If the document changed by one byte after signing, the fingerprint would say so.

Yes. The certificate carries the document's cryptographic fingerprint, so the signed contract verifies on its own. Any change to the document after signing would break the match.
Do we still need our separate e-sign subscription?
For most agreements, no. That subscription is one of the line items Client Atrium is meant to replace.
